Today I was surprised to see Gandhi’s image on google’s home page google.com . Today (October 2nd) is Gandhi’s Birthday (Gandhi Jayanthi). Thanks you google for putting Gandhi’s picture as a doodle and reminding the world of that great man.

What’s the deal with american cab drivers in New Delhi?
Imagine India outsourcing its tech support jobs to cheap labor in US. American call center workers speaking in indian accent to support Indian customers or New Delhi being flooded with American cab drivers.
Check out this hilarious clip from ‘TheDailyShow’ aired last night. Couple of weeks ago Indian space agency ISRO discovered water on moon with support from NASA. This is the video on back drop of this. Asif Manvi arguing that India is getting up there, today NASA is providing tech support to Indian Space Agency ISRO, pretty soon tables will be turned and US will become India and India will be US. This is what I have been looking for. Now you can listen to your favorite indian (Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and many other indian languages ) songs on your iPhone or ipod touch. Raaga.com now supports live streaming on your iphone.
Just open Safari on your iphone and go to raaga.com you can listen to indian movie songs.

I use mint.com to monitor all my credit cards, checking and savings accounts. You can see trends in your spending, your monthly average expenses by category. You can also budget your expenses by category and it will send you alerts when you exceed the budget. Pie charts by category, you net worth, your total income and expenses in the last 30 days, you can see all these with mint.com.
You get reminders for your payment due dates. Isn’t it nice to be able search all of your transactions of your credit cards, checking accounts at one place? You can do that with mint.com.
It is free of service. It is very safe all of your data is encrypted. You can not do any transaction or modify any thing via mint.com. You can just read your transactions. So it is very safe and there is no problem even if some one gets access to your mint userid and password. This website is maintained by the company that writes security software for major banks.
Google makes search easier in 14 indian languages
Celebrating 60 years of independence, google has made to easy to search in 14 indian languages অসমীয়া (Assamese), বাংলা (Bengali), ગુજરાતી (Gujarati), हिंदी (Hindi), ಕನ್ನಡ (Kannada), മലയാളം (Malayalam), मराठी (Marathi), नेपाली (Nepali), ଓଡ଼ିଆ (Oriya), ਪੰਜਾਬੀ (Punjabi), संस्कृतम् (Sanskrit), සිංහල (Sinhala), தமிழ் (Tamil), or తెలుగు (Telugu), .
You don’t need a special keyboard or software. To search in indian languages, you need to add a google gadget for your local language to your Google home page. I have added Telugu widget to my igoogle home page.

Microsoft IE7
Microsoft recently released a beta version for IE7 (Internet Explorer 7). I have been using this beta version for a couple of weeks, for me it seems very cool and neat. The major feature upgrade from IE 6 is that IE 7 has tabbed windows, like Firefox browser you can have tabbed windows.
