Mint.com – Best way to moniter and manage your financials

I use mint.com to monitor all my credit cards, checking and savings accounts. You can see trends in your spending, your monthly average expenses by category. You can also budget your expenses by category and it will send you alerts when you exceed the budget. Pie charts by category, you net worth, your total income and expenses in the last 30 days, you can see all these with mint.com.

You get reminders for your payment due dates. Isn’t it nice to be able search all of your transactions of your credit cards, checking accounts at one place? You can do that with mint.com.

It is free of service. It is very safe all of your data is encrypted. You can not do any transaction or modify any thing via mint.com. You can just read your transactions. So it is very safe and there is no problem even if some one gets access to your mint userid and password. This website is maintained by the company that writes security software for major banks.

Four Indians in world

Forbes has released world’s billionaires list, there are 4 indians in the top 10. Lakshmi Mittal, Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani are in 4th , 5th and 6th positions. DLF’s KP Singh is in 8th position. Bill Gates is no longer world’s richest person, he has slipped to third position. First and secon positions are occupied by Warren Buffet and Carlos Slim Helu.
