“Flavors” the movie

This is one of the good movies I watched in recent times. The movie which was made just after dotcom bubble, is a indian-american romantic comedy. It is all about lives of typical NRIs living in USA. The comedy was subtle but refreshing. It is worth watching, I really enjoyed watching it. Below are the scenes and characters that I liked most.

Flavors the movie

I liked Sangeetha’s (Telugu Girl) character, it projected typical life style of indian housewife living in USA. (Life style like get married – goto Niagara Falls and take photos – buy a mini van and goto Walmart every weekend – do laundry on every Sunday..).

The scenes involving bench guys are hilarious. The scene when Rad’s parents meet his american girl friend for the first time is awesome, particularly look on their face when they were expecting Jenny to touch their feet.

The love thread between Karthik and Rachana is romantic. Karthik’s acting is real good. Overall it is a very good movie, indians living in USA can relate to the characters in this film. Go and buy/rent this dvd and watch it, it’s worth watching.
