    No, Europe is a continent. Germany is a country, France is a country, Switzerland is a country.. n they all happen to be in the European continent.

    Just like when we say “America”, we’re usually referring to the USA but North America n South America are continents. And the word
    “Americas” is used to collectively refer to both these landmasses as well as some island groups like Hawaii n the Carribean Islands.
