Man marries a dog in southern India
This is very lame, A 32 old year man Selva Kumar married a dog to relieve him from the curse. He has been sick for a long time and recently he became deaf. He went to a witch man for help, witch man told him that he is being hunter by a curse as he tortured dogs in the past. As the witch man said, he really tortured and killed two dogs 15 years back. Witch man told selva Kumar that he should marry a dog otherwise he will die because of the curse. He believe witch man and married a dog. Before the marriage there was procession of dog and the groom.

Another interesting TED talk by Martin Rees a British cosmologist and astrophysicist. In this video, he talks about the big bang theory. The images of cosmic wonders shown in this video are brilliant, also the visuals on big bang theory.

Another interesting TED talk this time by David Deutsch a physicist at the University of Oxford. In this, he takes us through the cosmos of the universe questioning whether planet earth typical or it is the only place in the universe where life exists. Talks about darkness of inter galactic space.
“Flavors” the movie
This is one of the good movies I watched in recent times. The movie which was made just after dotcom bubble, is a indian-american romantic comedy. It is all about lives of typical NRIs living in USA. The comedy was subtle but refreshing. It is worth watching, I really enjoyed watching it. Below are the scenes and characters that I liked most.
I liked Sangeetha’s (Telugu Girl) character, it projected typical life style of indian housewife living in USA. (Life style like get married – goto Niagara Falls and take photos – buy a mini van and goto Walmart every weekend – do laundry on every Sunday..).
The scenes involving bench guys are hilarious. The scene when Rad’s parents meet his american girl friend for the first time is awesome, particularly look on their face when they were expecting Jenny to touch their feet.
The love thread between Karthik and Rachana is romantic. Karthik’s acting is real good. Overall it is a very good movie, indians living in USA can relate to the characters in this film. Go and buy/rent this dvd and watch it, it’s worth watching.
