Google Earth – A 3D interface to the planet
Have you ever wondered sitting at home and taking pictures of Nayagara Falls? Do you want to locate the grocery stores near your home and want to figure out the shortest root to the store from your home? You can do all this on your computer with the help of Google Earth.
Google Earth is another product from search engine giant Google. GE will enable you to take a virtual tour around the world visiting prominent sight seeing places on Earth.

These images are taken by satellites and aircrafts in the last three years. These are not real time images. But I guess that for major cities these pictures are more up to date and I also feel that Google updates for major cities are more frequent than the other parts of the world.
